The whiskey was initially matured in ex-bourbon Barrels and Sherry casks for 9-12 years and finished of for an extra 1 year in Oloroso Sherry cask from Bogedas Lustau in Jerez. On the nose the Redbreast Lustau Edition, has a longing spice with undertones of old oak and flamed orange zest. As for the palate there is a flavours of dried fruit, clove, citrus and the classic pot still spice. On the finish there is a strong flavour of chocolate toffees.
