Teeling Single Grain, is a whiskey made up of approx 96% Corn(maize) & a touch of Malted Barley, distilled in Column stills, and then fully matured for approx 7 years in ex-Cabernet Sauvignon Barrels from California. Interestingly, these barrels were made from French oak.True to it's nature, the nose of this Single Grain whiskey is quite soft with initial sweetness and soft touches of spice. The palate has a mix of vanilla & honey sweetness, touches of fruit. Overall a very soft easy drinking whiskey.
