Bushmills 10 year old Single Malt, is the first in Bushmills' Triple Distilled Age statement Single Malts and has been the flagship Single Malt since it's launch. It is predominantly matured in ex-bourbon casks for a minimum of 10 years, with a small amount of ex-sherry casks used to give an added layer of depth.The nose has a mix of barley, honey, vanilla, and soft chocolate aromas, it's quite fresh and inviting. The palate has a mix of ripe fruit, barley & heather from the spirit are evident, along with notes of honey & vanilla sweetness. A must have entry level Single Malt for all whiskey lovers.
The Irishman Single Malt Irish Whiskey, is a Single Malt matured in both ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. These casks have then been perfectly selected by Bernard Walsh from the Walsh Whiskey Distillery in Carlow.On the nose The Irishman Single Malt Irish Whiskey, has a soft, sweet aroma with hints of roasted almonds. On the palate there is a distinctive dark chocolate taste and a finish of black pepper. Very interesting.
Glendalough 7 Year Old, is a Irish Single Malt produced for the Glendalough Distillery who are based in Wiklow. The Glendalough Distillery was founded in 2011 by five friends. The 7 year old single malt refers to St. Kevin who spent seven years in the wilderness before building the "seven city of churches in the Glendalough Valley. The nose of the Glendalough 7 Year Old Single Malt, is that of green apple and floral aromas. There are also some notes of tropical fruit and spice. The palate is that of some spicy flavours mixed in with some rich sweetness, chocolate and toffee. The finish has planty of fudge flavours as well as some spice and astringent.
Writers Tears Red Head Single Malt Irish Whiskey, is a Single Malt matured in Oloroso Sherry casks, which have been perfectly selected by Bernard Walsh of the Walsh Whiskey Distillery in Carlow. It is bottled at 46% ABV and is non-chill filtered. On the nose Writers Tears Red Head Single Malt, has an aroma for fresh fruit, melons and ripe apples with undertones of figs and grapefruit with comes from the sherry butts. As for the palate Writers Tears is refreshing with a mixture of tropical fruits and ginger spice. The finish is that of a strong sherry flavour with raisins, sultanas and figs. A wonderful, smooth whiskey to be enjoyed at any occasion.
Irish American, is a double distilled Single Malt Irish Whiskey, matured for 10 years in first fill ex-bourbon barrels. The whiskey is produced for the Irish American Trading Company. It is a rich full bodied whiskey with a floral underbelly with hints of cinnamon spice.
Teeling Single Malt Irish Whiskey, is a Non-Age statement Irish Whiskey, matured in 5 different Wine casks. They take a selection of ex-bourbon matured whiskeys of different ages and spread them between 5 ex-wine casks, Port, Sherry, Madeira, White Burgundy, & Cabernet Sauvignon, creating a complex full-flavoured Single Malt.Bottled at 46% and non-chill filtered, Teeling have done everything they can to leave as much flavour in this liquid as possible. On the nose there are distinct floral notes intertwined with soft fruits, citrus and clear european oak spice, The palate is quite subtle with no distinct fruit character standing out from the maturation, rather just delicate and smooth fruits. Knappogue Castle 12 year old Single Malt is an Independently bottled triple-distilled Irish Single Malt. The Knappogue Castle brand originated in 1966 when an American, Sir Mark Andrews purchased the Knappogue Castle outside Ennis in Co.Clare and while renovating the Castle he began purchasing casks of Whiskey from closed down distilleries in Ireland. He let these casks mature and began bottling them in the late 1980's most famously as Knappogue Castle 1951.Knappogue Castle 12 year old Single Malt is exclusively matured in ex-bourbon casks for the full 12 years and bottled at 40%abv. It is an incredibly smooth whiskey with a refreshing array of malt spice and citrus fruits. On the nose there are clear notes of malted grains and white pepper spice. The palate is an infusion of those cereal notes intertwined with fresh apple, melon and citrus peel. The finish is touch richer with warming spice.
West Cork 12 Year Old Sherry Cask, is a product of the West Cork Distillery in Skibbereen. It is one of a trio of 12 year old whiskeys to be released by West Cork Distillers in 2016. This particular expression has been finished off in Sherry casks, which in itself released flavours of sweet berries and chocolate.The nose of the West Cork 12 Year Old Sherry Cask, is that of vanilla pod, rhubarb tart and orange peel aromas that all settle together. The palate is that of a typical sherry finished whiskeys with flavours of raisins and dates with hints of nutty notes on the back of your mouth. The finish is somewhat strange with thick blackcurrant flavour. Lovely way to finish a whiskey.
West Cork 12 Year Old Rum Cask, is a product of the West Cork Distillery in Skibbereen. It is a 12 year old whiskey that has been matured in ex-bourbon barrels and finished of in ex-rum casks from the West Indies.On the nose West Cork 12 Year Old Rum Cask, is light and fresh with lovely aromas of honey, lemon, pineapple and toasted oak, almost like a tropical fruit juice or a fruit cocktail. As for the palate it is soft and delicate with flavours of orchard fruit, honey and grapes. It tastes like a sun holiday lying on a beach.
Tipperary Watershed Single Malt Irish Whiskey, has been chosen from only six first-fill bourbon casks for each batch and has been carefully selected by Tipperary's Boutique Malt Master, Stuart Nickerson. It is cut at 47% ABV and every bottle is numbered individually.From the first smell you begin to realise that Tipperary Watershed Single Malt Irish Whiskey, is a layered whiskey with plenty of interesting aromas. Lambay Single Malt Whiskey, is a new Irish whiskey to hit the Irish Market being released to retail in February. Lambay Whiskey is named after the Lambay Island located just off the coast of Skerries, Dublin. It is well known to be home to both wallabies and puffins. The whiskey itself is triple distilled, matured in ex-bourbon barrels and finished in Camus Cognac casks. This is the first Irish Whiskey to be finished in cognac casks. The aromas are malty, grassy with a touch of some flora and fauna notes. There is also some cider aromas present also. The palate is that of dried berries, sweet malt and a hint of caramel, vanilla. An exciting new Irish Whiskey.
Jack Ryan 12 Year Old Single Malt, is a 12 Year Old Single Malt Irish Whiskey produced to celebrate the Ryan's Beggars Bush 100th Year Anniversary in 2013. The label on the bottle depicts an image from 1913 of the exterior of the landmark public house and original lamp post that still stands today. The whiskey has been matured in ex-bourbon barrels with only 1450 being bottled.The nose of the Jack Ryan 12 Year Old Single Malt, is that of vanilla and honey aromas, with hints of oak and citrus fruit. The palate is that of some sweetness and some woodiness flavours. There are also notes of lemon curd and rhubarb tart. The finish is soft and smooth.

There are also undermines of wood and fresh cut grass during the summer time. As for the palate there is a distinct taste of charred oak and black peppercorn with hints of fresh apples and pears. The taste lingers on until the last drop.

It is made up of 100% malted barley, matured in american bourbon barrels and finished in Sherry Casks for 18 months.On the nose, the Tyrconnell 10 year Sherry Single Malt has rich sherry characters with hints of leather and tobacco. Tyrconnell 10 year Port Single Malt, comes from the Kilbeggan Distilling Company. It is a double distilled whiskey made from 100% malted barley, matured in american bourbon barrels and finished off in Port Casks for at least 3 months.The initial aromas are of sweet fruit and chocolately aromas, with hints of roasted nuts. The taste comes through in the shape of caramel, toffee notes with some sweet fruity flavours on the finish. All in all quite light and smooth.
St. Patricks Distillery is located in Co. Cork and they produce a number of spirits including gin and vodka with a 100% potato based distillate. This release is a single malt whiskey aged in ex- bourdon and ex sherry casks and is limited to 1,425 bottles. The nose of this whiskey is very fruity, with strawberry, melon and citrus notes. The palate brings a jam like fruitiness, honey and cereal flavours.
Knappogue Castle 14 year old Single Malt, is a triple distilled Single Malt Irish Whiskey. Named "Twin Wood" as it has been matured in both ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. It is a non-chill filtered whiskey with an ABV of 46%. On the nose the Knappogue Castle 14 year old, has aromas of an orchard with fresh apples and fruit. This is in harmony with more sherry aromas, such as plums,dates and apricots. There are also undertones of vanilla, butterscoth and carmel, which all work together. On the palate there is a strong flavour of apple zest, with hints of vanilla and plums with a gressy barley finish.
Connemara 12 year old Peated Single Malt, is one of the few Peated whiskeys in Ireland. It is produced by the Kilbeggan Distilling company at the Cooley Distillery in Co.Louth.The whiskey itself has quite a fresh palate, with lemon citrus notes, smoked honey, and toasted oak, turning to green fruits, apple and pears. It's got great depth and a full rounded heated texture. It's a little more earthy than the Islay Malts of Scotland, which makes for a distinctive point of difference.
The Teeling Brabazon, is the lasted Single Malt to come out of the Teeling Distillery. It is the first of a series. The whiskey has come from a range of barrels matured to different ages, the youngest coming from 2008 and the oldest from 2002. The majority of the whiskey has been matured in ex-Sherry casks with a small amount being matured in PX or Oloroso sherry casks. This Batch No.1 has a limited amount of 12,500 bottles and is bottled at 49.5% ABV. The name Brabazon comes from Lord Brabazon the 3rd Earl of Meath who was responsible for the development of Newmarket Square, where the Teeling Whiskey Distillery is suited in the Liberties.On the nose the Teeling Brabazon, has aromas of dried fruits, citrus, walnuts and a hint of prunes. On the palate there is a initial sense of cured ham and leather. As the whiskey flows around your mouth more flavours of dates, orange peel, cinnamon and ginger come through. The finish is that of spice and fruity notes.
Method & Madness Single Malt, is a Single Malt Whiskey from the Midleton Distillery in Cork. The Method & madness range was launched in March 2017. It is a 14 year old whiskey that has been distilled by David Quinn. The whiskey has been aged in ex-bourbon casks before 40% of the liquid was taken for further maturation in Virgin Limousin Oak casks from France. The nose of Method & Madness Single Malt, is that of malt spirit with some soft spicy aromas and plenty of wood essence. The palate id that of malty tones with waves of spice and sweetness that makes this whiskey so unquie and a must have for any whiskey drinker.
Egans 10yr old, is a Irish Single Malt from Tullamore in Co. Offaly. The name Egans comes from a old company known as P&H Egan Ltd which was set up in 1852, it enjoyed a long run of wholesaling, bottling, malting and brewing until its closeur in 1968 when competition in the market place got the best of them. The brand was then revives by the 5th and 6th generation of Egans. The whiskey has been aged for 10 years in American oak and is bottled as a non-chill filtered whiskey.The nose of Egans 10 year old, is that of fresh bread and some baked spice aromas. There are also some aromas of vanilla and cinnamon. The palate is that of honey sweetness and caramel flavours. There are also some hot spices and sweet butterscotch flavours. The finish has some leather and spice flavours.
Tipperary Red Wine Finish Single Cask Irish Whiskey, is a Single Malt Irish Whiskey from the Tipperary Boutique Distillery. This whiskey once again shows their commitment to building their brand through excellent full-flavoured Single Malt expressions.This expression is 8 years old, finished in ex-Faustino Rioja casks. The liquid itself has a gorgeous red hue and great viscosity, noting that it's bottled at natural cask strength at 59%. The nose is a mixture of aromatic malt notes with touches of red berry and oak. The palate has a good balance of distillate contribution, wine cask essence, and underlying sweetness.

There are also undertones of apricots and cinnamon. The palate is thick and moreish with flavours of vanilla, grapes, smoked bacon and caramel.

Jack Ryan is a 15 Year Old Single Malt Irish Whiskey that is produced under the name of a proprietor of a famous Dublin Pub, Jack Ryan, who's father Thomas Ryan purchased the Pub Beggars Bush in 1913. It was there that Thomas fell in love with all things whiskey, especially the finishing of whiskeys, such as the use of port and sherry casks. He began to source his own whiskey which became a local favourite.The nose of the Jack Ryan 15 Year Old, is full bodied with some lovely Fruity notes and some rich vanilla oak aromas. The palate is spicy with a sense of cinnamon roll flavours. The finish is long with plenty of complex flavours such as vanilla and spice. A all round lovely dram of whiskey.
