The name of the whiskey Bradan Orach is Gaelic for Golden Salmon, the very best kind of salmon, which can be fished on the River Spey. It is a non-age statment whiskey that has been matured for a period in first fill bourbon barrels.On the nose the Speyburn Single Malt, has malty caramel aromas with distintive notes of fresh green apple. Vanilla aroma also comes through on the nose. As for the palate it is a thin body, with flavours of cookie and tannic woodiness. The finish is short but sweet with a heavy hint of green tea.
