Crown Royal Blended Canadian Whisky
Crown Royal Blended is a Blended Canadian Whisky produced at the Crown Royal Distillery at Gimli, Manitoba, Canada. The company is now owned by Diageo who purchased it from Seagram in 2000. The origin of the company came in 1939 to celebrate the visit of King George VI and his wife Queen Elizabeth to Canada.
The nose of the Crown Royal Blended is that of caramel, light fruit and some citrus aromas. There are also some nuttiness and vanilla notes evident. The palate has some caramel, citrus and vanilla flavours. There are some undertones of cake and sweetness. The finish has some caramel and candy corn flavours along with some maple and raw grain.
