The Woodford Reserve brand was introduced to the market in 1996. Woodford is made up by a mixture of pot still spirits produced at the Woodford Reserve Distillery and column still spirits from the Brown Forman Distillery in Shively, Kentucky. The nose of the Woodford Reserve Bourbon, is that of oak and rye notes with hints of green apples, pears and banana aromas. There are also aromas of backed spice and sweetness, such as caramel, vanilla and cinnamon. The palate is that of spice and sweetness. There are also flavours of sweet berry jam and cinnamon.
